I want to start out by giving all the credit to God for what he has done in my life. I truly believe he has lead me on this path. He has time over time shown me that he has plans for me and has helped me more than once to follow that path. A few years ago I quit a job at a fortune 500 company to stay at home, raise my daughter, and start a design company of my own. I’m not going to lie, that was scary and tough. I really loved that job, but something was just not right in my life. It’s now been three years, and I still love what I do as a freelance designer. I’ve also been blessed with a second child (a boy this time!) in 2016, and the business has been blessed to continue and prosper! I just want to say, “Thanks God. You rock.”
As far as my experience goes, I personally have over 10 years’ of design experience, either professional or freelancing. My portfolio includes a broad range of projects from brand identities, photography, signage, social media advertising, to websites and book covers. I have worked for the start-em-up companies, as well as a fortune 500 company in the span of my work career. I studied at Marshall University, graduating with a BFA, emphasis in Graphic Design.
For fun, I absolutely love spending time with my two little kidos, going on walks with them and our two Shiba Inus, traveling to visit family, horseback riding, painting, drone flying, and Netflix binge-watching while eating a whole watermelon…by myself.
